Acceleration and cooling of the corona during X-ray flares from the Seyfert galaxy I Zw 1

چکیده
We report on X-ray flares that were observed from the active galactic nucleus I Zwicky 1 (I Zw 1) in 2020 January by NuSTAR and XMM-Newton observatories. The spectrum is well-described a model comprised of continuum emission corona its reflection accretion disc around rapidly spinning (a > 0.94) black hole. In order to broadband spectrum, it necessary account for variation ionisation across disc. Analysis time periods before, during after reveal underlying changes associated with flaring. During flares, fraction drops significantly, consistent acceleration away find first evidence temperature 140(-20,+100)keV before 45(-9,+40)keV flares. profile iron K line reveals emissivity disc, showing be illuminated compact extending no more than 7(-2,+4)rg over but tentative expands as accelerated Once subsided, had collapsed radius 6(-2,+2)rg. rapid timescale suggests they arise within black-hole magnetosphere rather arising Comptonisation seed photons

XMM - Newton VIEW OF THE PROTOTYPE NARROW - LINE SEYFERT 1 GALAXY I ZW 1
We present results based on an XMM-Newton observation of the prototype narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy I Zw 1 performed in June 2002. The 0.6−12 keV spectrum is well described by a steep power-law (Γ ∼ 2.3) and a weak soft blackbody component (kT ∼ 200 eV) below 2 keV. The soft X-ray excess emission is featureless and contributes only ∼ 10% to the total X-ray emission in the 0.6− 2 keV band. There...

We present a detailed analysis of the intrinsic X-ray absorption in the Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4151 using Chandra/High Energy Transmission Grating Spectrometer data obtained 2002 May as part of a program which included simultaneous ultraviolet (UV) spectra using the Hubble Space Telescope/Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph and the Far Ultraviolet Spectrographic Explorer. متن کاملThe highly variable X - ray spectrum of the luminous Seyfert 1 galaxy 1 H 0419 - 577
An XMM-Newton observation of the luminous Seyfert 1 galaxy 1H 0419-577 is presented. We find that the spectrum is well fitted by a power law of canonical slope (Γ ∼ 1.9) and 3 blackbody components (to model the strong soft excess). The XMM data are compared and contrasted with observations by ROSAT in 1992 and by ASCA and BeppoSAX in 1996. We find that the overall X-ray spectrum has changed sub...
